The Beat Project values and support equality, working in partnership with organisations like SKillnet, Marthatrust
The Beat Projecthas much experience of engaging and working
with the most hard to reach within our communities. We can offer one-off
courses and programmes through to a full community development and regeneration
programme over a number of years.
Our Community Development Projects
The St. James Centre is The Beat Projects first Community Training Centre and Arts Café in partnership with the St. James Trust. It has a unique, inspirational and exciting approach to community development.
The Beat Project has been in East Malling for over five years with Angela Borsos being the Community Development Manager overseeing East Malling and the Tonbridge and Malling area. Angela is passionate about developing opportunities for young people and communities and is supported by the Beat Project team to ensure we do our very best for and with the community.
The Beat Projects Community Outreach Coordinator for Snodland is Nicky Delacey. Nicky works at the Heart of the community with local people, local organisations and the community as a whole. Supported by the Beat Project team Nicky has made excellent progress who really gives her all to ensure the community receives the best possible opportunities.
The Beat Project has been working in the Trench Ward area of Tonbridge since August 2007 and made excellent progress during this time. We are currently recruiting a new Community Outreach Coordinator for the area to carry this good work on.
